Northern Wyoming Community College District’s Associate of Science Degree in Health Science is designed for those who wish to find employment in the field of health care upon completion of the program, or who wish to transfer to pursue a bachelor’s degree. This is also a good choice for students completing their general education requirements awaiting admission into the Dental Hygiene or Nursing program.
Health Science Program Outcomes:
- Discuss safe practices for health professionals.
- Research the requirements and responsibilities for the various health professions.
- Perform group problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict management activities to function effectively in Health Science careers.
- Demonstrate communication skills appropriate for a health science professional.
- Examine the ethical and legal ramifications of a career in the Health Sciences.
