The Massage Therapy AAS Program prepares students for careers as professional massage therapists with an emphasis on working within the medical community. This program also prepares students who wish to continue their education by building skills and confidence necessary for success as an entrepreneur in the field of bodywork.
Massage Therapy AAS Program Outcomes
- Identify contraindications to massage therapy modalities.
- Integrate the protocols of a given modality as needed during treatment.
- Demonstrate effective use of the techniques of a modality in the clinical setting.
- Design a comprehensive business plan.
- Assess workforce readiness through self-appraisal.
