CO/M* 2150 - Argumentation and Advocacy


This course provides instruction in the principles of argumentation, both as analysis and as advocacy It examines various types of argumentation within various advocacy situations, including formal and informal debate, both as a listener and as an advocate. Within the course there will be a special emphasis upon analysis, evidence, reasoning, case construction, and delivery to bring about belief and subsequent action.

Prerequisites/Corequisites
Prerequisites: Complete CO/M*1010- Intro to Public Speaking or Instructor Consent.
