ELTR 2865 - Intermediate Drive Systems This course is designed to provide mine electrical technicians with an understanding of basic concepts of electric drive systems. An emphasis is put on system analysis and application. Topics include: DC machine control, variable frequency operation of induction and synchronous machines, unbalanced operation, scaling laws, adjustable speed drives, and adjustable torque drives.
