BIOL 2320 - Tropical Biology This variable credit course integrates classroom and on-site instruction to introduce students to the fundamental principles of tropical biology, the natural history of important tropical plants and animals, and their conservation. Students will be introduced to a variety of habitats including several dramatically different types of forest. Field orientation at each site visited includes identification and natural history of the area, area management and history, and cultural considerations necessary for conservation and research in the tropics. Minimum Credits: 3 Prerequisites: BIOL 1010 General Biology I AND Instructor consent. Grading: Letter
