HIST 1221 - US from 1865 This course surveys American history from approximately the time of the Civil War to the present. Emphasis on the development of constitutional, socio-political, cultural, and economic factors that explain the emergence of the United States as a global power. It meets the requirements of the Wyoming statutes providing for instruction in the provisions and principles of the constitutions of the United States and of Wyoming. Students cannot receive credit for both HIST 1220 and HIST 1221. Minimum Credits: 3 Prerequisites: Completion of or concurrent enrollment in ENGL 1010 English Composition I, or instructor consent General Education US & Wyoming Constitutions Grading: Letter
