The Agricultural Science Education Program prepares students to obtain an education with courses from a diversity of ag related disciplines. This degree will require students to take courses in livestock production, range management, soils, agroecology, horticulture, ag economics, chemistry and biology. Students completing this associate’s degree will be able to transfer into a Bachelor of Science Ag Education degree program at either the University of Wyoming or Montana State University. Those students preferring to not work on an advance will be well diversified for general ag employment opportunities.
Agricultural Science Education AS Program Outcomes:
- Design solutions to real-world agricultural issues using the scientific method.
- Interpret the effects of regulatory issues on the local, national, and global agricultural industry.
- Create multimedia information products that communicate effectively in the realm of agriculture.
- Investigate marketing channels or opportunities for agricultural products.
