The General Studies AA program is designed for students who want a liberal arts education in preparation for transfer to a four-year institution. The program offers diversified study in the Arts, Humanities, Natural Sciences, and Social Sciences.
General Studies AA Program Outcomes:
- Communicate effectively in multiple areas using appropriate medium.
- Apply mathematical techniques to real-world and theoretical problems.
- Differentiate among diverse human systems.
- Explain the impact of the arts and philosophy on the human condition.
- Apply the basic scientific method to real-world and theoretical problems.
- Categorize geographical and cultural elements that produce a particular human culture.

Note
Cultural Studies credits must come from each of the following areas: Global Diversity, Humanities, Social & Behavioral Sciences, and Visual & Performing Arts
