Practical Nursing Certificate

The Practical Nursing Certificate Program is the first year of an intense, two-year course of study to prepare graduates for the profession of Registered Nurse. Upon successful completion of the first year, students are eligible to sit for the National Council Licensure Examination for Practical Nurses (NCLEX-PN). The nursing program is offered on both the Gillette and Sheridan campuses.
NOTE: Practical Nursing Certificate program was updated to remove NURS 1980 Practical Nursing Role Transition effective Fall 2018 retroactively.
