The HVAC Apprenticeship Certificate at Sheridan College provides a combination of online and laboratory educational components. This program meets the state-approved HVAC Apprenticeship educational guidelines that complement the 2000-hour-per-year, working component needed to meet the yearly requirements set by the Bureau of Apprenticeship and Training, Wyoming Department of Labor, for apprentices to become eligible to sit for the journeyman’s exam.
Program Outcomes:

Complete coursework necessary to qualify for state journeyman licensing requirement

Apply communications skills in an industry setting

Develop job skills required of journeyman HVAC technicians

Integrate information from residential and commercial blueprints to solve HVAC problems

Perform mathematics as applicable to HVAC operations
