				The Culinary Arts AAS Program is designed to prepare students to become certified, successful culinarians.  Operating from the Wyoming Culinary Institute in Sheridan, the program provides a comprehensive, hands-on approach to training the modern-day culinarian.  Students receive instruction in a variety of cuisines in addition to foundational practices for efficient operation of the kitchen. Culinary Arts Program Outcomes: 
    Demonstrate proper kitchen equipment operation and maintenance skillsEvaluate production techniques as outlined by the American Culinary FederationEvaluate costing methods for maximum profitabilityCreate a menu with the appropriate aesthetic plate presentationPrepare menu items in a restaurant industry settingPerform decision making and leadership skills to function effectively in the hospitality industry Required Course of Study for AAS Degree |
