ANTH 1300 - Intro to Archaeology This introductory course covers the history, types and techniques used in archaeological excavation including a survey of both Old and New World civilizations, major events and sites. Additionally, the course explores artifact retrieval, dating methods, and documentation processes. Core anthropology concepts and theories will be examined as well as the evolution of humanity and ancient culture.
