CNTK 1870 - Construction Materials & Methods This course provides students with a survey of common materials and methods used in building construction. Materials covered include wood, glue, laminated timber, steel, non-ferrous metals, concrete, plastic, and insulations. Emphasis is placed on physical properties, use in construction, and construction techniques for completing the project. Prerequisites: Successful completion of, or concurrent enrollment in, CNTK 1510 Construction Safety and the Use of Tools, or instructor consent Co-requisites: Enrollment in construction technology course sequence. Minimum Credits: 3 Grading: Letter
