DHYG 2455 - Dental Materials

This course covers the lecture portion of the scientific and application principles of dental materials. It includes the study of the composition, properties, and other factors which provide scientific rationale in the selection and use of materials that are employed in the fabrication of dental appliances and tooth restorations.
Prerequisites: Sequence of coursework is established by the dental hygiene program.
Co-requisites: DHYG 2456 Dental Materials Lab
Minimum Credits: 2
Grading: Letter
