PEAC* 1040 - Tai Chi This course is designed to give students an opportunity to enhance their personal wellness through the participation in moderate to vigorous physical activity. Students will learn various aspects of this ancient Chinese form of movement. This discipline improves balance, endurance, and overall physical condition. It is known to improve focus and concentration. The principles taught in this class will help students to enhance the physical dimension of wellness.
Prerequisites/Corequisites Students wishing to satisfy the Health and Wellness requirement must also enroll in HLED 1270 Personal Wellness during the same semester.
