CHEM* 2420 - Organic Chemistry I The first semester of a two-semester sequence in organic chemistry. This course emphasizes the chemistry of carbon compounds with particular focus on organic functional groups, reaction mechanisms, and spectroscopy. Students desiring a one-semester terminal course should take CHEM 2300.
Prerequisites/Corequisites Prerequisites: Complete CHEM*1025-Chemistry I and CHEM*1028-Chemistry I lab.
