ART 2470 - Visual Arts Internship This course is designed to allow students to receive credit while working in a professional setting. Internships provide exposure to a workplace environment and offer students the opportunity to use creative problem-solving skills. Students engage in the arts, develop new skills, expand their professional network and refine their career goals.
Prerequisites: Instructor consent
Co-requisites: none
Minimum Student Competencies Upon completion of ART 2470 Visual Arts Internship, the student will:
- Complete duties required by the specific internship.
- Present the desired art product related to their specific internship.
- Characterize the specific internship in a public relations setting.
Credits: 1-3
