ART 2350 - Metals I: Metalsmithing I This course is an introduction to fundamental metalsmithing with emphasis on hands-on learning. The student will develop basic skills of forming and finishing silver jewelry, develop sensitivity to the metal and its possibilities as an expressive medium and explore and apply the principles of three dimensional form. Some work with other metals is also included.
