ASTR 1250 - Astronomy II This course provides an overview of the structure and evolution of stars, galaxies, and the universe as a whole including cosmology. Studies also include basic celestial motions, a history of astronomy, telescopes, and the nature of light and gravity, and the theories of special and general relativity.
