EIP 2510 - Comparative Studies Comparative studies will compare linguistic variations among deaf and hearing communities in the United States. Included are American Sign Language (ASL), spoken/written English, and Pidgin Signed English (PSE). PSE, also known as “Contact Signing”, is the most widely used form of communication between deaf and hearing signers.
Prerequisites: ASL 1500 - American Sign Language I, ASL 1550 - Fingerspelling, and EIP 1500 - Deaf Culture/Community
Credits: 2 to 4
