FIN 2100 - Managerial Finance This course is designed to provide the students with a basic knowledge of finance. It provides the principles and tools needed to make important decisions in finance, namely capital budgeting and financing decisions. The major topics include time value of money, stock and bond valuation, investment decision criteria, Capital Asset Pricing Model, and cost of capital. This class provides a broad overview of the field of finance.
Prerequisites: ACCT 1020, STAT 2050 or equivalent Level IV math
Credits: 3
Lecture/Lab Hours: 3 lecture hours/week
