MCHT 2800 - Computer Aided Machining This course is designed to introduce the learner to utilizing CAD to make drawings, and create toolpaths in order to generate programs using CAM software. These programs are used to operate CNC Turning and Machining Centers.
Prerequisites: MCHT 1700 CNC Program & Operations and ENTK 2505 Computer Aided Drafting II, and completion of or concurrent enrollment in MCHT 2700 CNC Turning & Machining Centers
Co-requisites: May take MCHT 2700 CNC Turning & Machining Centers concurrently with MCHT 2800
Credits: 3
Lecture/Lab Hours: 2 lecture & 2 lab hours per week
