The Computer Aided Design program is designed to help students to acquire basic computer design skills. Students use current versions of industry software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3-D, Revit, Inventor or SolidWorks, Microstation, and ArcGIS. Students also use state-of-the-art technology and software, including surveying related equipment and software.
This program is designed to transition students to the Computer Aided Design AAS program.
Program Outcomes
- Demonstrate an understanding of civil, mechanical, and architectural drafting concepts and principles.
- Exhibit introductory knowledge of configuration management.
