The Computer Aided Design program is designed to allow students to acquire basic computer design skills. Students use current versions of industry software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3-D, Revit, Inventor or SolidWorks, Microstation, and ArcGIS. Students also use state-of-the-art technology and software, including surveying related equipment and software.
This program is designed to transition students to the Computer Aided Design AAS program.
Program Outcomes
1. Demonstrate an understanding of civil, mechanical, and architectural drafting concepts and principles.
2. Exhibit introductory knowledge of configuration management.
